Oh and don’t forget Hellboy: Web of Wyrd, a seemingly budget-priced game that looks like it popped right off of a comic book page. Past that, there’s also the side-scrolling action title Gargoyles Remastered, which brings the 16bit Gargoyles title back with a modern recreation. Having portable version of any of those would be great, but all three is something very cool indeed. For one thing, the hotly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Collection is here too, serving up the original MGS, plus parts two and three. If you’re a fan of the plumber, or just like quality platformers, it sounds like a can’t-miss.īut while Mario and crew are set to hit Switch tomorrow, there’s so much more this week than just Nintendo’s main man coming back around. Pre-release word has been out of this world for the title, which shakes up the formula of what you’d expect from a traditional “Mario” game, but still keeps most of what makes the series such a timeless icon. It’s even been floating around that Nintendo basically told the team to take as long as they wanted with it, so it’s had a lengthy (and productive) development cycle.
